How to Create a Tax Report for Your Medical Practice

Ontario physicians are considered "self-employed". The MOHLTC does not issue a T4 to physicians for their fee-for-service remuneration. You will need to keep track of all your revenue paid by MOHLTC for filing your taxes.

MDBilling.ca has created a report to help you summarize your earnings. You can generate this report to reconcile against your deposits from MOHLTC. Keep in mind that the total deposit amounts are based on data provided by the MOHLTC, which includes all submission sources (ie/ submission from MDBilling.ca, and other software).

Navigate to REPORTS & FORMS --> Advanced Reports --> Tax Report

Choose the month of your Medical Professional Corporation's year-end (for those who are "not" incorporated, choose December).

A report will be generated summarizing the total deposits for the last 12 months.
