Billing Assessments and E078 Effectively - Automatic Code (E[][]XA)
As an extension to the automatic codes (A[][]XA) (designed for various disciplines to bill re/assessments quickly), we have designed a new automatic code E[][]XA, which resolves to the appropriate in-person re/assessment code plus the Chronic Disease Assessment Premium E078.
Important notes:
E[][]XA follows the same rules as A[][]XA when resolving to re/assessment codes
Please refer to the OHIP Schedule of Benefits page GP25-26 to determine whether you are eligible to bill Chronic Disease Assessment Premium E078
