OHIP Error Code - ESF – A non-encounter service claim submitted by a physician not eligible to bill FSC codes

Background

This rejection means:

a. A claim is submitted with an Assessment Centre group number for any fee code other than H409A or H410A; or
b. A claim is submitted for H409A/H410A and billed with any group number other than an Assessment Centre

Solutions

a. Remove the Assessment Centre group number (change MOH Group = No Group) and resubmit the claim
b. Add MOH Group = Mxxx (Assessment Centre group number) and resubmit the claim. Please refer to How to Submit H409 / H410
