OHIP Error Code - ESD – APP Group Affiliation on Service Date

Background:

The H-codes listed on the Schedule of Benefits (page A15) are funded under an ER Department, where an ER department group number (MoH Group) is required.

Solution:

If you are registered with a group on the date of service, you will need to change the “MoH group” in the claim to the applicable billing group and resubmit the claim.

Please also confirm the payment type on the patient profile. For WSIB claims, as an example, the MoH group is generally not required.
