OHIP error code – EQG- Referring laboratory is not registered with the Ministry of Health
Background
The referring lab is not registered with the Ministry of Health and therefore is not eligible to be used when billing for services rendered.
Solution
Double check the claim to make sure the referring lab is correctly recorded.
Confirm with referring lab that they are registered accordingly with the Ministry of Health.
