OHIP Error Code - EQE - Healthcare provider not registered as an affiliate of the group

Background

Healthcare provider is not registered with the Ministry as an affiliate of this group on this date of service. The claim has been billed under an AFP group number, for which you are not registered to bill under at the time of service.

Solution

Provided you have billed the correct service date, it is possible your registration under this group has not yet been processed by the MoH. You can contact the Provider Registration (providerregistration.moh@ontario.ca) to confirm the date of registration. Once your registration under the group has been processed, you can submit the claims under the AFP number.

If a billing group has mistakenly been set for the claim, you can remove the AFP designation from the claim and resubmit.
