OHIP error code – EG1- Group not Eligible

Background

The service code which you are billing is not eligible for payment when being billed under your group. The MoH group in which you are billing under is not eligible for fee-for-service codes.

Solution

Double check services being billed and MoH group you are billing under. If billing echocardiography services, your facility must be accredited otherwise services are payable at nil. Please review the CCN standards and OHIP bulletin 4664 for more information.
