OHIP error code – A3F – No fee exists for this service code on this date of service
Background
Service code being submitted is not yet available or no longer eligible for payment on the date of service according to the OHIP Schedule of Benefits (SoB). The Ministry periodically adds and removes service codes from SoB.
Solution
Check the OHIP Schedule of Benefits (SoB) to make sure service code is effective on the date of service. If no code is found check the OHIP Bulletins pertaining to service code being billed. If code has been removed from the SoB, choose another code to replace with.
Note:
COVID-19 virtual codes K080, K081, K082 and K083 came into effect as of March 14, 2020.
COVID-19 sessional codes H409 and H410 came into effect as of March 21, 2020.
