My Preferences - Time Saving Tips
We have several time-saving features that allow users to bill efficiently. They can be found in Settings (under username) -> Select “My Preferences” on the left menu.
1) Enable Last Service Date
For users that visit several patients on the same day. The service date used in the last claim will be pre-populated in the new claim. It saves you time in entering the service date for the new claims with the same service date.
2) Default Service Date to Current Date
For users who create claims on the same date as they see the patient. The current date will be pre-populated for you when creating a new claim. It saves you time in entering the service date for each claim.
3) Enable Last Referring Physician
For users who have patient visits from the same referring physician. The referring physician used in the last claim will be pre-populated in the new claim.
4) Enable Last Referring Physician for Patient
For users who want to use the last referring physician for the same patient. It saves you time in entering the referring physician for the same patient when creating a new claim.
5) Enable Last Diagnostic Code
For users who have patient visits with the same diagnosis. As an example, if you are an Oncologist who typically encounters breast cancer patients, you can enable this feature to have the diagnosis code 174 (breast cancer) pre-populated for all new claims.
6) Enable Last Diagnostic Code for Patient
For users who have multiple visits with the same patient under the same diagnosis. As an example, if you are following a patient who has heart failure, you can enable this feature to have the diagnosis code 428 (heart failure) pre-populated for all the new claims for this patient.
7) Enable Last Admission Date for Patient
For users who see admitted patients. As an example, if you visit with a patient who has been admitted to the hospital for a few weeks, you can enable this feature to have the last admission date pre-populated for the new claims for this patient.
