At the moment, Quebec does not participate in the provincial reciprocal billing with any other provinces.  Therefore, you will need to submit a private invoice to your patient for the services rendered in BC, Alberta or ON.

To add this claim and request an invoice follow these steps:

Step 1: Add your patient.

  • Select "private insurance" and complete details

Step 2: Fill in a complete address with Postal Code

Step 3: Fill in all relevant details and click on completed and create your patient.

Step 4: Add in claim details for the patient in question. You'll notice that the claim states that Dr.Bill does not bill patients directly and you can click to learn more about private invoicing.

Step 5: Once the claim details have been added, click save. You will be routed back to the patient profile and given the option to Create a Private Invoice.

Step 6: Select the claim you'd like to privately invoice for.

Step 7: Complete your invoice details.

Step 8: Create, print and mail out your invoice!

Happy Billing!
