How to Import Patient, Claims and Referring Physicians Information

Question:

Is there a way to carry over previous billing info (what was billed, patient HCN and referring physician OHIP numbers) from another billing program?

Answer:

Patient data - We support importing your patient database for a one-time charge of $100. Simply export your patient data in Excel, CSV, or XML format and send us the file to import.

Referring physician data - We have an extensive referring physician list available that is compiled by our software users. The information can be searched on the claim page. See Finding Referring Physician. If the referring physicians cannot be found in our system, you can add them in our system. See OHIP Billing Tip #13 - Adding New Referring Physician. We can also import a list of referring physician information at no charge.

Claim data - Data will need to be reviewed by our technical team and we will provide you with a rate for importing depending on the amount of data. Alternatively, you are also suggested to generate a PDF report of your old claims to keep as a record.
