Welcome to Dr.Bill, we're happy you're here!

Now that you're signed up and ready to get started, we wanted to share one of the most helpful tips for keeping your claim submission running smooth while using Dr.Bill.

It's as simple as keeping your mobile application up to date with the most recent releases. Here's a few ways to stay on top of this so you don't run into any hiccups.

First, what version of the Android Mobile Application are we currently on?

As of February 12th 2025, the Android Application is running 4.22.1.

This update requires Android 10 and up as your operating system, so before updating your application, be sure to check that your device can support our most recent app version.

Turn On Auto Updates:

Navigate to the Play Store on your device and select the "Account" Icon in the top right hand corner of your screen. Select "Settings":

Select "Network Preferences" and "Auto-update apps":

Choose your update option and ensure that "Don't auto-update apps" is selected. This will ensure what whenever you are connected to the internet (wifi or data) your Dr.Bill mobile application will automatically update when new versions are available.

Manually Update Your Application:

If you prefer to keep auto-updates off, you can update the Dr.Bill mobile application easily following similar steps as above.

Navigate to the Play Store on your Android device and search for Dr.Bill:

If there is an update available, you'll see a blue "Update" button. Select this, and let the update download to your device.

That's it! You can confirm your application is running the most recent version by selecting the "about this app" on your Play Store:

It's important to note that when our team releases updates, they do them in phases. This means that even if we have a more recent version of the app listed at the top of this article, but you don't see the option to update, it may take a few days before this is made available to your device.

Keeping your application up-to-date is the easiest way to avoid the need to contact our team for technical troubleshooting, so please be sure to check-in regularly.

If you're having trouble with your app, write to our team at hello@dr-bill.ca.

Happy Billing!
