You need to connect your OPS BPS account to Dr.Bill so we can submit your claims to OHIP and get you paid. Connecting your account can take time so it’s best to do this as soon as possible so your payments aren’t delayed.

The simplest and fastest way to get connected is to give us your OPS BPS email and password and we’ll complete the steps within 1 business day. If you’re having trouble recalling your email or password, or if you wish to do the connection yourself, please see the following FAQs.

I want to connect Dr.Bill to my OPS BPS account myself

We’ve made a guide to walk you through the process of setting up Dr.Bill as a designee in your account. Note that there are two parts to the process and both need to be completed before you can get paid.

(For just adding a designee follow step 3).

I’ve forgotten my log in details

Head to the OPS BPS website and under ‘Sign in’ click on ‘Forgot your ID or password?

I don’t have an account

We’ve made a guide to walk you through creating your account. It’s easy to create, but you’ll need your OHIP registration letter which contains two ID numbers that are required. If you don’t have this letter, you can request a new one be sent to you.

What exactly is OPS BPS?

It's an Ontario government owned website and web service that allows you to access the medical claims electronic data transfer (MCEDT) system that transmits electronic files to the ministry (i.e., your OHIP Claims).

You cannot get paid without it and since claims contain confidential patient information, having an account is mandatory.

How do I contact OPS BPS?

For any trouble with your account or general questions, you can reach OHIP directly at 1-800 262-6524 or visit their website.
