The GPSC Portal Code (G14070) needs to be submitted at the beginning of each calendar year. G14070 has a $0.00-dollar amount but needs to be billed in order to have access to other incentive codes ( such as G14075, G14076, G14077, G14078 and G14029).

Important Note: If you billed the portal fee code in 2019, then our billing agents will automatically bill this fee for you. If your portal codes haven’t been billed before, you’ll need to submit them by following the instructions below.

***If you've submitted them with another EMR/billing service, you will still need to submit them through Dr. Bill.

How to submit the GPSC Portal code (G14070) +

Use diagnostic code 780 and the following program “Patient” demographic information:

In order to submit G14071, you'll need to follow the same exact steps as above.

New longitudinal care payment for family physicians, 2020

GPSC introduced a new payment for any family physician who cares for a panel of patients. The new payment was created in an effort to recognize the additional, non-clinical responsibilities that are currently not compensated for.

If you're eligible, then the first payment will be made in January 2020. You can expect to receive a CLFP Payment ranging from $3,000 to $12,000. The majority will receive between $4,000 and $8,000 (The GPSC has allocated $19.5 million annually for these payments).

Who is Eligible

If you're working fee-for-service and you:

  • billed the 14070 in the previous calendar year (2018) and the current calendar year (2019), prior to June 19, 2019.

  • provided longitudinal care to a group of patients through the MSP database (as shown through billing data).

The CLFP Payment will be remitted automatically by MSP if you're eligible. This means you don't need to do anything extra to receive the payment. For exact details on how payment eligibility works check out GPSC's article that outlines the qualifications further.
