What are the Statutory holidays for OHIP?

Statutory Holidays for non “H” prefix emergency department listings and Emergency Department Equivalent A888 are as follows:

Family Day
Good Friday
Victoria Day
Canada Day
Civic Holiday
Labour Day
Thanksgiving
New Year’s Day
- If this holidays falls on a Saturday or a Sunday either the Friday before or the Monday following the holiday, as determined by the physician.
Boxing Day - If falls on a Saturday then Monday following Boxing Day is the Holiday.
Christmas Day - If falls on a Sunday, the Friday before Christmas Day and if falls on a Saturday, the Friday before and the Monday following Christmas Day.

- If this Holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, either Friday before or the Monday after, as determined by the physician.
Civic Day
Labour Day
Thanksgiving
New Year’s Day
December 25 through December 31 (inclusive)
- If Christmas Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday the Friday before Christmas Day and if New Year’s Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the Monday following New Year’s Day.
