Effective October 31st, 2025, www.bc.mdbilling.ca will no longer be accessible for physicians using the platform for claim submission to MSP.
Why is MDBilling BC being shut down?
MDBilling is constantly working towards improving our core product and customer experience. In an effort to prioritize our focus on other products offered by our team, MDB BC will no longer be supported.
What does this mean for me?
If you are using MDBilling BC as an individual, or through RocketDoctor, this means that you will no longer have access to log in to www.bc.mdbilling.ca or to submit claims through RocketDoctor's API connection with MDBilling BC.
What happens to my claims?
MDBilling will send out communication reminders about this change at a few different intervals before the service is shutdown. We encourage you to find an alternative billing solution as soon as possible to avoid any confusion with claim status if on-hold or submitted to MSP at the time of the platform sunset.
What about my tax information for 2025?
MDBilling is offering to assist users in accessing the necessary data for 2025 reporting prior to the system shutdown. Additionally, MSP will have all of the necessary reporting information that may be needed for claim history and tax and accounting purposes. You can contact MSP's account services directly at this number: 1-866-456-6950 option 1.
What is MDBilling doing to help physicians?
The team at MDBilling is offering to support physicians in moving over to the Dr.Bill platform if desired. Included in this offer is the following:
Account creation completed by the team at MDBilling
Patient List import
$150 in complimentary billing credits
Support with connection forms
What should I do next?
We encourage you to explore alternative billing options as soon as possible to avoid any hiccups in reporting as we near October 31st.
