To submit your claims using Dr.Bill, you need a Business Arrangement (BA) number that's attached to us.

Alberta Health has recently updated their process for connections. In order to access the forms needed, you'll need to ensure you follow the steps on their website:

New to practice, or already have a BA number in use with a different submitter?

(There's no limit for BA numbers, and getting a new one will not affect any of your other billings or programs)

Already have an unattached BA number?

Complete a Submitter/Client Relationship Request

Please note, Alberta Health does not allow for Locum BA's to be attached to Dr.Bill, or BA's used previously.

You may notice the links bring you to a form that looks the same, please be careful in selecting the drop down option that pertains to your situation:

Once you've downloaded the form, please print and sign it with a pen. Alberta Health does not accept digital signatures.

You can then upload this along with a copy of a void cheque to the files section of your Dr.Bill account and we will sign our portion and send this off to Alberta Health for processing.

Please note, Alberta Health takes approximately 10-14 business days to process forms.

If you still have questions, write to us at hello@dr-bill.ca.

Happy Billing!
